Teaching scuba divers for over 40 years
In 1982 Sunfish divers was established in Ayia Napa. It is located on the same spot until today. With your help and support, we became a PADI 5 STAR dive center in 1990 and a PADI 5 STAR Instructor Development Center in 2008.
We, the Instructors at Sunfish divers pride ourselves through all these years for our commitment to professionalism, integrity and safety while teaching you how to dive. Whether it is your very first dive, or you have decided to become a professional, we respect you as our student and give you the time to learn at your own pace.

Our course director Dena Asimenou
I have started scuba diving in 1996. I have joined the team of Sunfish divers in 1998 and became a scuba instructor. Ten years later I have completed my Course Director training course. I find that teaching people how to dive is a very rewarding experience. I try to work with each students’ needs, strengths and weaknesses with understanding and patience. We are all different people from different cultures, traditions and beliefs. Underwater we are all the same, we are divers.
